3 things I had to do to heal my relationship with food and stop binge eating

Years of battling binge eating taught me valuable lessons. In this blog, I'm sharing the three main behaviours that turned my struggle into a journey of healing. It wasn't easy, but what I found on the other side was life-changing. Remember, the only way out is through, and what awaits is truly worth it!

I stopped dieting

  • Deleted MyFitness Pal, stopped counting calories in my head.

  • Put aesthetic goals on the back burner.

I developed an abundance mindset around food

  • Eating regularly throughout the day even if I wasn't hungry.

  • Gave myself unconditional permission to eat.

  • I began to eat my trigger foods pretty much daily.

I learnt to feel more neutral about my body

  • Reduced body-checking behaviours

  • Made my life bigger than my body (discovered my passions, prioritised joy)

Overcoming binge eating is a personal and challenging journey, but you don't have to walk it alone. If you're ready to tackle this battle and seek a path towards healing, I'm here to help. Reach out to set up 1:1 coaching sessions with me, and together, we'll work towards a healthier, happier you
